Rapid delivery of the casting needs is made possible through the use of 4 coreless induction melting furnaces. This enables Globecast to pour moulds in an ever-expanding range of cast steel and related alloys in a size range up to 4000 Kgs of gross wt.
A variety of alloys : Carbon steel, Alloy steels, Duplex stainless steels, Austenitic stainless steels and Martensitic stainless steels castings.
ASTM, DIN, and proprietory alloy standards are used to ensure the consistency of every alloy throughout the pouring process.
Thorough testing is an extremely important facet of the casting process, Globecast uses their in-house German make Quantron 46 Channel high precision Optical Emission Spectrometer with Nitrogen analyzer to confirm that every alloy composition meets exact specifications. Accurate records are electronically kept for tracebility and a single test coupon is inventoried in the unfortunate event that future validation maybe required.
In addition, our technical staff makes full use of their extensive knowledge and experience to develop new methods and improve current processes and quality levels.
Our quality program starts right from the very beginning with the selection of quality raw materials. Our documented system covers the incoming inspection, storage and proper handling of these materials.
All incoming shipments come with certified chemical test reports and these records are re-tested maintained for any future needs.
